Happy Halloween 2010

October was a busy fun month. The boys designed and carved their own pumpkins. We went to the Aggieville trick or treat. The boys were really more interested in passing out candy this year instead of going out looking for candy. We were so happy that dad was able to be home with us this year. Fall in Kansas is absolutely beautiful.

Worlds of Fun 2010

We saved our free tickets from the strong bonds retreat to take the kids and some friends to Worlds of Fun in the fall. So glad that we did because the weather was perfect that day and it was decorated for Halloween. The boys each took a friend and we all had a blast. As you know I don't ride rollercoasters but it was fun to watch all of the guys have a good time.

Our trip to Kansas City

In August we went to Kansas City to a strong bonds retreat thank you Army. We had such a wonderful time hanging with our friends the Cochrans and their 3 cute little boys. We stayed at a nice hotel and went to Science City and the Crown Plaza and swam on top of the roof. We had a great time and it was nice just be together after a long deployment.

HE IS HOME!!!!

It is our tradition to spend the day before daddy comes home decorating the house, the cars, cleaning, making our signs. We do this to keep our mind off of the exciting upcoming events of him coming back into our lives!! We look forward to this day the whole year. Oh happy happy day!!

R & R February/March 2010

It was a long winter 2010

It was a long winter while Brett was deployed. We got tons of snow and the bitter cold seemed to last forever. My birthday was in January and Skye made me a twilight cake. She did a great job. It looked and tasted great. We spent alot of time shoveling snow. The boys and I made white chocolate covered strawberries for Valentines day. They were delicious. We really missed Brett this past winter. Hopefully he will be home for the next one.
